To legally marry, a residency period of three complete business days is mandatory; this excludes the day of arrival, weekends, and public holidays. For those seeking a quicker process, expedited licenses are available at an extra charge of $180, in addition to your wedding package, and are only valid for weddings occurring on weekdays. If either party is under 18, a notarized affidavit of parental consent is necessary. It’s important to provide clear and full photocopies of all required documents before your trip, and you must present the original documents when you arrive.
Group weddings are available for up to 100 people. Contact us for group accommodation rates for up to 50 rooms.
The cost of wedding packages is in addition to any room rates or meal plans and is non-refundable. Gracious Movement retains the authority to modify or remove items from the package at any time without advance notice. All prices are subject to change and do not include a 10% service charge and 10% VAT.
It is advisable to finalize wedding dates and times between 3 to 6 months in advance of the desired date. Couples can choose between a denominational or non-denominational ceremony, with the location being either indoors or outdoors. Within approximately a week following the ceremony, a certified copy of the marriage certificate will be provided to the couple.
Summer is low season, allowing for us to be more flexible on accommodation prices.

Gracious Movement, is the exclusive provider of all food and beverages. Should you wish to bring specialty bottles from outside, corkage fees may be incurred, subject to prior approval from your wedding coordinator.
Indeed, at Gracious Movement, we have a dedicated wedding coordinator who will assist you from the initial contract signing through your arrival and until the completion of your wedding events.
The town of Soufriere imposes a 10:00 PM noise ordinance.
In order to confirm your chosen date, a signed agreement and a deposit are required. Furthermore, one month before your arrival, full payment for both the events and accommodations is necessary.
