To legally marry, a residency period of three complete business days is mandatory. This excludes the day of arrival, weekends, and public holidays. For those seeking a quicker process, expedited licenses are available at an extra charge of $180, in addition to your wedding package, and are only valid for weddings occurring on weekdays. If either party is under 18, a notarized affidavit of parental consent is necessary. It's important to provide clear and full photocopies of all required documents before your trip, and you must present the original documents when you arrive.
The cost of wedding packages is in addition to any accommodation or meal plans and is non-refundable. Gracious Movement retains the authority to modify or remove items from the package at any time without advance notice. All prices are subject to change and do not include a 10% service charge and 10% VAT.
It is advisable to finalize wedding dates and times between 3 to 6 months in advance of the desired date. Couples can choose between a denominational or non-denominational ceremony, with the location being either in Soufriere or any other approved locations on island. Within approximately a week following the ceremony, a certified copy of the marriage certificate will be provided to the couple.

Hewanorra International Airport is a 45-minute drive to Soufriere, where the majority of our listings are located. Depending on where you’re traveling from, your flight might enter through the George Charles Airport, located in Castries, which is approximately 1 hour from Soufriere by car.
If you’d like to get a St. Lucian marriage certificate, the residency requirement for a marriage license is three working days, excluding your arrival day, weekends, and public holidays. Couples must submit copies of their passports and any relevant documents, such as a divorce decree or name change certificate, before arriving. Be sure to bring all original or notarized legal documents with you when traveling to St. Lucia.

Certainly, at Gracious Movement, we have a dedicated weddings & events coordinator who will assist you from the initial contract signing, through your arrival, and all the way until the completion of your wedding events.
Unless we request permits for loud music after hours, the event needs to be done by 10 pm. Additional costs apply for this request.
To confirm your chosen date, a signed agreement and a deposit are required. Furthermore, one month before your arrival, full payment for both the events and accommodations is necessary.
